Yummy Potato Salad




This is my moms recipe that she has made time and time again every time she makes them and she also adds about a cup of black olives. This is a great idea for a family get together.... Just make sure there is not to much mustard flavor.... This is so so so good and we make this for the 4th of July. I hope you guys like this.
 Potato Salad
5 pound potatoes (peeled and Cubed)
½ medium onion (finely chopped)
5 hard boiled eggs (chopped)
¼ cup sweet pickle relish
½ to 2 cups  Mayonnaise
1 ½ to 2 tablespoon mustards
Salt and pepper to taste

1)      Peel potatoes cut into 1 inch cubes, place into 5 quarts pot, cover with water (add a pinch of salt) Boil 5-8 Minutes. Drain and rinse. 
2)      Combined chopped onions and eggs (set aside) 
3)      combine Pickles, salt, pepper, mustard and mayo 
4)      Once potatoes are cool; add chopped onion and eggs; fold together GENTLY. Add mayo mizture and combine.

Sugar Cookies



This is my first recipe.
All of my friends loved these when I made them.  I took a dozen to school and they would be gone by the time School started..


Easy to do (Sugar Cookies)                                                                           Total time: about 25 Minutes
Ingredients:
2 ¾ cups All purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 cup butter (they say softened but I do melted it is better for me)
1 ½ Cups White sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract



Directions:
1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking powder and baking soda, set aside.
2. In a large bowl, Cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients. Beat in egg and vanilla. Roll rounded teaspoons full of dough in to balls onto a UNGREASED cookie sheets.
3. Cook for 8 minutes. 
4.Enjoy
